What's Cookin' My li'l list of stories in progress. The title of any story can and will change if I think of a better idea... Simmering hot "The Wrong Friends" -- a 3rd/4th season poem, less sexy than "All the Moves" but at least as dark. In final revision stage -- at that point where I can't tell if it sucks or is the best thing I've ever written. "All Talk" -- a happy-happy joy-joy PWP in the "What Simon Saw" universe. Half-written. The White Hotel Suite -- Orwellian erotica trilogy. (D.M. Thomas reference intended.) I wanted this to be a PWP, but it may be growing a plot. First story written; the next two in outline. "The Kiss" -- DEoBS-related. Jim considers making his relationship with Sandburg monogamous. A crappy rough draft in early revision. (Rough drafts are supposed to be crappy. <g>) "This Is My Brother Whom I Give Unto Thee" -- a post-BMB first-time story. With Margaret in it (eek!) -- crappy rough draft in progress. "And He Leads Them" -- volumes two and three are each about one-third to half-written. The auction winner asked for Jim-angst. I've succeeded in breaking him, now I gotta put him back together... On the back burners "International Guide Registry" -- a teeny bit written, mostly still in outline form. Sprawling AU that's sorta 45 degrees from being the opposite of "If I Run Far Enough". "Stage Fright" -- sequel to the Scripted stories. Teeny bit written, mostly an outline. "Nobody Now" -- a post-4th Season sequel to "And He Leads Them". An outline. "Freak" -- a Jim-angst poem. (In case you're wondering, yes, almost all of my poetry *is* dark and/or angsty.) In early revision. Fermenting "Opening Act" -- a prologue to the Scripted stories. Just an outline. Untitled -- an AU based on extrapolations from Theodore Sturgeon's "Never Underestimate". If you're never read it, all you need to know is that, by the end of the story, all the men the world over are experiencing cycles of rut...and women have won the "war of the sexes". (Just be happy I don't try to write an AU based on anything by James Tiptree!) "We All Make Sacrifices" -- a Buffy:TVS x-over involving virgin sacrifice. <weg> "Pervert" -- a PWP in the "What Simon Saw" universe, in which Blair suspects he's a pervert, and Jim has to comfort him. (Poor dears!) "Darn You, Pavlov" -- arg, I can't summarize this one, even though I've a good chunk of it written. In the pantry Revisions to "The Wedding Script". Revisions to "Not in the Script" -- I think I'll be retitling it "Ad Lib".
